A Feather Matress can improve the Quality of your Sleep! |
|
Fluffy feathers. There’s nothing quite like them! Of course, there’s absolutely nothing new about using feathers in bedding items. In fact the feather mattress used to be commonplace in many homes across the country, but for some reason they took a back seat for a few years while folks tried out all the new fangled man made alternative materials, but now feathers in bedding are making a comeback and for good reason. |
Granny was right about one thing; sleeping with feathers is the best way to sleep well. Nowadays, we’re not restricted to feather pillows either. Experience the feathery softness of a feather mattress and you will never again sleep without it. Feathers and down, are the stuff dreams are made of folks, but you don’t have to take my word for it, try for yourself.
Many of today's feather mattresses are filled with 95% feathers and 5% down. Feathers breathe with you so you stay cool in the summer but lovely and warm during those cold winter nights.
Just as fashion comes around full circle, so does home décor and furniture items, even if with a little twist from their original styles and designs. But there’s nothing revolutionary or innovative about feather bedding. It came, it went, and now it’s back again and that’s because manmade fillings have not been able to compete with the ultimate luxury offered by feather mattresses, feather pillows, and feather or down comforters. Nothing!
So, after all the trial and experiments with synthetics, featherbeds are now back in vogue for the exact same reasons they were popular in the first place which is that Featherbeds are relatively lightweight; they promote really comfortable sleep; and they regulate body temperature. It sounds just great doesn't it? That's because it is.
Another reason the feather mattress is making a comeback is because recent research has shown just how important a sound night's sleep is to our overall good health. Getting enough quality sleep is really important as it promotes growth of new cells, reduces stress, and refreshes the mind and body. Because a feather mattress is so comfortable, (some folks actually liken it to sleeping on a cloud), the benefits of sleeping on a featherbed really are considerable.
But comfort is just part of the story. Using a featherbed can also help reduce energy bills as you will find you're as snug as a bug in a rug as the feather mattress provides warmth during the winter months by trapping body heat. And because air is able to circulate through its loft, a featherbed will also keep you cool during those hot summer months.
